Crowe does NOT knit. He picked up some knitting needles as a hand prop for a photo shoot years and years ago. This silly rumour keeps popping up but be assured, from a HUGE Crowe fan, that he has never knitted.

My point is, if he did, what would be surprising about that?

I take it you feel strongly about dispelling the notion that Mr. Crowe has a hobby requiring hand eye co-ordination and manual dexerity.

Duly noted.

As for now being able to rest assured that he does not knit - the notion of him knitting caused me no unrest. The surprise caused in the interviewer was the source of my :O
